Since its establishment in 2004, France Naissain has emerged as a key player in the oyster farming industry.
The company's origins trace back to the creation of GAEC Les Ferranges in 1991 in Beauvoir-sur-Mer. It was there that Stéphane Angeri, alongside his family, began cultivating oysters with dedication and expertise. These initial steps in oyster farming marked the beginning of an exciting journey, filled with numerous challenges.
In 2004, Stéphane Angeri decided to revitalize his venture by founding France Naissain. With a clear and ambitious vision, he aimed to make a significant contribution to the French oyster industry by developing innovative and sustainable techniques for oyster spat production.

The joint creation of the Oyster Farming Cooperative Les Ferranges in Beauvoir sur Mer and the introduction of a new product line for the industry: oyster pre-growing
After learning and implementing tele-capturing (micro-nursery technique), construction of a hatchery.
Construction of an oyster nursery as a versatile pilot breeding facility in partnership with IFREMER and ANVAR.
Following the significant mortalities in 1995, the production of the first families of selected oysters was initiated in partnership with another hatchery, the Pays de la Loire Region, and SMIDAP
Dissolution of GAEC Les Ferranges and founding of the oyster spat production and sales company, SCEA Vendée Naissain, located at Polder des Champs in Bouin. The company then employed six people.
Due to its success, Vendée Naissain undergoes structural changes and begins its expansion. The establishment of SAS France Naissain, a commercial company tasked with selling Vendée Naissain products. Acquisition of a second oyster nursery and expansion into international markets (Spain, Italy, Tunisia, Ireland, Jersey, Morocco...).
The evolution initiated in 2004 continues, and the Group invests in production tools and human resources to meet all customer demands: construction of two new oyster nurseries, a second oyster hatchery, and a second micro-nursery for oysters. The teams, comprised of an increasing number of men and women, are structuring themselves and engaging in skill and knowledge exchange, characteristic of oyster farming.
France Naissain and Vendée Naissain are certified ISO 9001 Version 2008 for the production, marketing, and exportation of diploid and triploid oyster spat.
Creation of SFC (French Shellfish Selection) with three other partners. The objective is to find an oyster strain resistant to the significant mortalities encountered since 2008
Establishment of a Research & Development department aimed at enhancing the zootechnics, selection, and quality of our products.
In order to increase its production capacity, the Group continues its investment policy: construction and commissioning of two new oyster nurseries (total of eight nurseries), construction and relocation to the new Administrative and Commercial Headquarters (still located at Polder des Champs in Bouin), construction of a new shipping building and two sieving units, acquisition of 25 hectares of parks on the island of Jersey (pre-growing activity).

France Naissain and Vendée Naissain have expanded over the past decade and now employ nearly sixty people.

France Naissain and Vendée Naissain have once again received ISO 9001 Version 2008 certification for the production, marketing, and export of diploid and triploid oyster spat.
France Naissain and Vendée Naissain are certified Organic Agriculture for a part of their diploid spat nursery production and distribution.
Construction of two new nurseries, bringing our total to 12 nurseries.
Following the re-certification audit conducted in March, France Naissain and Vendée Naissain are certified ISO 9001 on the new version (2015) for the production, marketing, and export of oyster spat
Confirmation of the ISO 9001 certification, version 2015, for 3 years, until 2021
Truly committed to its oyster farming sector, and more broadly, to sustainable and responsible environmental preservation, France Naissain has implemented an ASC approach obtained in March 2020, which is a natural extension of its societal practices and environmental approach.
Stéphane Angeri has thus built a Group with strong human values, becoming a leader in its field while embracing and respecting the demands of its customers and the environment. Today, all these values unite the cohesion of the company.
Emphasizing local sourcing and proximity to its customers, the France Naissain group invests in a new production site in Bouzigues (34) and establishes the company Conch'Med.
