Pre-grown oyster spat at sea
France Naissain offers pre-grown diploid and triploid oysters (T8 at 55 units/kg), raised on tables or in lantern nets.
They originate from our nursery spat.
Discover our diploid and triploid oyster spat resulting from sea pre-growth (T8 at 55 units/kg).
After being nurtured in the nursery, the spat is placed in bags and placed on the foreshore to obtain pre-grown oysters.
The growth process follows traditional methods (in bags on tables) across our parks in Vendée, Normandy, Brittany, or in Jersey. (Indeed, we have acquired 25 hectares of parks on this island, aiming to meet the growing demands of our oyster farmer partners for pre-grown oysters).
Since 2022, we have also been growing oysters in lantern nets in Bouzigues on the Thau Lagoon.
